A major setback for American dressage: two months before the World Championships in Aachen, the USA will have to do without their best pair, Christian Simonson and Indian Rock. Zen Elite Stables announced last few hours : "After much discussion with the team, we have decided not to include Indian Rock in our plans for the summer championships this year. Rocky has given us an incredible season, and we are extremely proud of everything he has accomplished. He has exceeded all our expectations, and we believe the best decision for him is to enjoy a well-deserved rest and take the time to simply be a horse. We firmly believe that to develop great horses for the long term, it is essential to know when to push them and when to allow them to recharge. Rocky has given us an extraordinary journey this year (one we couldn't have dreamed of better), and we want to support him in achieving new successes in the years to come. We are immensely grateful for the support of our entire team and everyone who has cheered Rocky on every step of the way. This summer, we will proudly cheer on the rest of the American team, including Christian and our magnificent 'lion,' Fleau de Baian." Gros revers pour le dressage américain : à deux mois des Championnats du Monde d'Aix la Chapelle, les USA vont devoir faire sans leur meilleur couple, Christian Simonson & Indian Rock. Les écuries Zen Elite annonçaient en effet hier soir " après de nombreuses discussions avec l'équipe, nous avons décidé de ne pas inclure Indian Rock dans nos plans pour les championnats d'été cette année. Rocky nous a offert une saison incroyable et nous sommes extrêmement fiers de tout ce qu'il a accompli. Il a dépassé toutes nos attentes et nous pensons que la meilleure décision pour lui est de profiter d'un repos bien mérité et de prendre le temps d'être simplement un cheval. Nous sommes convaincus que pour former de grands chevaux sur le long terme, il est essentiel de savoir quand persévérer et quand leur permettre de se ressourcer. Rocky nous a fait vivre une aventure extraordinaire cette année (une aventure dont nous n'aurions pas pu rêver mieux ), et nous voulons l'accompagner vers de nouveaux succès dans les années à venir. Nous sommes infiniment reconnaissants du soutien de toute notre équipe et de toutes les personnes qui ont encouragé Rocky à chaque étape. Just few weeks before the selections for the World Championships they will host in Aachen, our German neighbors are facing some unexpected twists. Traditionally considered essential in the year's selection process, the German Championships, held this week in Balve, will ultimately take place without Katharina Hemmer & Denoix; a leading pair for the formidable German national team. Member of the German team at the European Championships in Crozet (photo) where he was 4th in the Grand Prix Special and 11th in the freestyle, the 14-year-old son of Destano had since distinguished himself by winning the CDI 4* in Lier and at the end of April taking second place in the Grand Prix of the 4* in Hagen with 77.261%. Denoix PCH will remain in the stable this week due to a swelling in one of its members. Traditionnellement présentés comme incontournables dans le processus de sélection de l'année, les Championnats d'Allemagne organisés cette semaine à Balve se joueront finalement sans Katharina Hemmer & Denoix ; un couple pourtant phare de la redoutable Mannschaft. Membre de l'équipe germanique des Championnats d'Europe de Crozet (photo) où il était 4 ème du Grand Prix Spécial et 11 ème de la reprise libre, le fils de Destano de 14 ans se distinguait depuis cette date en remportant le CDI 4* de Lier et en prenant fin avril la seconde place du Grand Prix du 4* de Hagen à 77.261%. Denoix PCH restera finalement à l'écurie cette semaine en raison d'un engorgement constaté sur l'un de ses membres.
