Till now owned by Gestüt Schafhof, Destacado FRH, ridden by Matthias Alexander Rath, will now be ridden by a german young rider. Born and raised at Heinrich Gießelmann's farm, the father of international rider Jan-Dirk Gießelmann, who presented him for Hanoverian studbook approval in 2015, this son of Desperados FRH and Londonderry was then acquired by Gestüt Schafhof. Ridden by Matthias Alexander Rath since the summer of 2017, he represented Germany at the World Championships for Young Horses in the 5-year-old category, where he took second place, then the fourth the following year in the 6-year-old. Winner of Nurnberger Burgpokal final circuit in 2020, Destacado made his Grand Prix debut at the age of 8. Since 2021, Matthias Alexander Rath and Destacado FRH have represented Germany at the Compiègne Nations Cup and at the 2024 World Cup Final in Riyadh, where they finished 4th. They also achieved victories in the CDI at Ornago, Le Mans, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Aachen, Crozet, Wroclaw, and Madrid. Destacado FRH has now been sold as a schoolmaster. Matthias Alexander Rath explained yesterday to Dressursportkim, " I had never really considered selling him, but at the end of last year, Destacado's co-owners, Friederike Lohse and Jürgen Fitsch, contacted me – and that's when we started thinking about it. As everyone knows, we have continued to develop our competition side, notably with the recent organization of the Vienna dressage competition. In addition, I train several student riders, I still ride myself, of course, and I have a family. It's important to understand that you can't compete at the highest level at the same time. Destacado is now 13 years old and is an excellent teacher. I think he is ideal for a female rider, even though he is a stallion. He has never behaved like one, and he is an incredibly kind horse. Depuis 2021, Matthias Alexander Rath & Destacado FRH défendaient les couleurs allemandes sur la Coupe des Nations de Compiègne et à l'occasion de la Finale Coupe du Monde de Riyad en 2024 dont ils terminaient 4 èmes. Ils s'imposaient par ailleurs en CDI à Ornago, au Mans, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Aix la Chapelle, Crozet, Wroclaw et Madrid. Destacado FRH a désormais été vendu comme maitre d'école. Comme chacun sait, nous avons continué à développer notre section compétition, notamment avec l'organisation récente du concours de dressage de Vienne. De plus, j'entraîne plusieurs élèves cavaliers, je monte toujours moi-même, bien sûr, et j'ai une famille. Il faut bien comprendre qu'on ne peut pas concourir au plus haut niveau en parallèle. Destacado a maintenant 13 ans et c'est un excellent professeur. Je pense qu'il est idéal pour une cavalière, même si c'est un étalon. Un peu moins de deux ans après son arrivée en Normandie où il est proposé aux éleveurs, l'étalon Chippendale fera son retour à la compétition cette semaine, à l'occasion du Grand National du Mans. Il est incontestablement associé aux écuries van Olst : né chez  P. van de Brandt, Chippendale débutait la compétition aux Pays-Bas en 2011 avec Eric van den Wildenberg en prenant la 4 ème place du Championnat néerlandais. Passé dans le piquet de Severo Jurado Lopez, alors cavalier des écuries de Den Hout, il participait en 2012 aux Championnats du Monde des 5 ans et prenait la 8 ème place du Championnat hollandais. Le fils de Lord Leatherdale et Negro continuait sa carrière sur le Petit Tour avec Anne van Olst qui le présentait à deux reprises en CDI, à Hagen et Roosendaal en 2014. Après 6 ans loin des terrains de concours, Chippendale réapparaissait avec Charlotte Fry à l'été 2020, d'abord sur un concours national puis sur le CDI de Hagen où ils prenaient la 5 ème place du Grand Prix à 71.956% puis à Exloo où ils étaient cette fois 4 èmes à 70.435%. Toujours propriété des écuries van Olst, Chippendale a rejoint le CRED, à La Vespière-Friardel dans le Cavaldos depuis mai 2024 où il est proposé aux éleveurs : il est d'ailleurs approuvé au Selle Français . Présenté au Salon des étalons de Saint Lo, Gilles Rigaud annonçait que Chippendale, désormais âgé de 19 ans, allait retrouver le sport cette saison : monté par Justine Rigaud, il sera au départ des épreuves Pro 1 Préliminaire et Pro 1 Grand Prix. Almost two years after he arrived in Normandy, Chippendale will make his competition return this week, in Le Mans. He is undeniably associated to the van Olst stables: bred by P. van de Brandt, Chippendale started competing in the Netherlands in 2011 with Eric van den Wildenberg, finishing 4th in the Dutch 4yo Championship. Joining later Severo Jurado Lopez, based at that time in Den Hout, Chippendale participated in the 2012 World Championships for 5-year-olds and finished 8th in the Dutch Championship. Starting respectively in the Grand Prix Special and the freestyle, the German Katharina Hemmer and the Belgian Larissa Pauluis won this afternoon in Lier. Despite being distracted at his first halt, Denoix once again demonstrated the consistency of his work and his desire to excel. Under the expert eyes of Hubertus Schmidt, Monica Theodorescu, and Henrike Lochthowe, the chestnut gelding made no mistakes, although he could have maintained his neck a bit higher during the piaffe. The German pair secured another well-deserved victory, scoring 75.596%. The Grand Prix Special podium was entirely German, completed by Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeyer & Valencia AS at 70.298% and Lisa Müller & Gut Wettlkam's Zonik Hit Old at 69.787%. Expected to compete in the 's-Hertogenbosch World Cup, Larissa Pauluis opted for the freestyle; an opportunity to prepare for her next competition in the Netherlands, or the World Cup Final early April, if she decides to go. Despite a leg defense at the start of their test, the KWPN, perhaps a little more challenging today than usual, won with a score of 79.638%. 4 ans après avoir été en partie acquis par Madeleine Winter Schulze pour Isabell Werth, Majestic Taonga est désormais aux portes du Grand Prix. Ce fils Toto Jr et Jazz, né aux Pays-Bas chez Willeke Bos, était approuvé au KWPN puis en DWB en 2020. Présenté à une seule reprise au Danemark, pour le compte d'Andreas Helgstrand, sur une épreuve 4 ans en septembre 2021 avec Merita Hagren, l'étalon prenait à 5 ans la direction des écuries d'Isabell Werth. Il intégrait alors piquet de l'autrichienne Lisa Wernitznig qui l'alignait en compétition en Allemagne à compter de 2023. Lancé sur le Petit Tour en 2024, l'étalon était sélectionné la même année pour le Championnat du Monde des 7 ans où ils étaient 13 èmes de la préliminaire à 75.025%, seconds de la petite Finale à 75.950% et 10 ème de la Finale à 76.415%. Absent des terrains depuis novembre 2025 où il concourrait sur le Petit Tour, Majestic Taonga retrouvait la compétition hier sur une Inter II organisée non loin de Düsseldorf. Malgré quelques résistances et discussions du contact, le KWPN débutait ce niveau sans faute majeure, avec un piaffer déjà honorablement sur place et des pirouettes manifestement aisées ; une première notée d'un 72.982%. Issu de la même grand mère que l'étalon Impress Taonga, monté sur le Petit Tour par le marocain Yessin Rahmouni mais aussi de la lignée maternelle de Romy, montée par Leida Collins, Majestic Taonga est déjà le père de 3 étalons approuvés.
