Proud James, young stallion star owned by Andreas Helgstrand, has been partially sold.
Bred by Y. M. M. van Maasacker, this son of Jameson RS2 & Johnson dominated the 4-year-old classes held alongside the World Championships in 2024.
Ridden by Mette Sejbjerg Jensen, the grey stallion won the 5-year-old World Championship last year with scores of 89.600% and 90.600%. Due to his rider's pregnancy, the KWPN spent a few months with Isabell Werth in Germany.
Now 6 years old, Proud James has been sold 50% to the Pidgley family, whose daughter Annabella is none other than the partner of Alexander, the son of Andreas Helgstrand, already owner of Gio, the former mount of Charlotte Dujardin and Vamos Amigos, ridden in the past by Cathrine Laudrup Dufour.
