Absents des terrains de CDI depuis plusieurs mois, Camille Judet Chéret & Corentin Pottier ont choisi l'Autriche pour réaliser leur rentrée 2026 ; un retour après notamment l'accident dont la cavalière était victime en début d'année. Direction donc la banlieue de Graz cette semaine et l'international néanmoins confidentiel de Gössendorf où 5 couples prenaient le départ du 4* aujourd'hui. Auteur d'une reprise sans faute, Corentin Pottier s'imposait donc tout à l'heure après un Grand Prix à 72.435% : pas tout à fait d'aplomb avant de reculer, Gotilas du Feuillard aurait peut-être pu montrer un peu plus de soutien dans ses piaffers mais présentait en particulier deux pirouettes au galop de bonne facture. Ils devançaient confortablement Camille Judet Chéret & Herelja Higgins qui réalisaient eux une rentrée marquée d'un 70.304%. Toujours aussi énergie, le KWPN semblait avoir gagné en élasticité dans ses appuyers. Malgré une première pirouette au galop un peu vite tournée suivie d'une seconde plus contrôlée et quelques tensions ici et là, leue reprise sans faute leur permettait de devancer facilement Peter Gmoser & dante's Daiquiri à 68.109%. Having been absent from the CDI circuit for several months, Camille Judet Chéret and Corentin Pottier chose Austria for their 2026 comeback; a return following, in particular, the accident the rider suffered at the beginning of the year. So, it was off to Austria this week and the relatively confidential international competition in Gössendorf, where five horse-and-rider pairs competed in the 4* today. Having delivered a flawless performance, Corentin Pottier finished victorious today after a Grand Prix score of 72.435%. Gotilas du Feuillard, not entirely square before his rein back, could perhaps have shown a bit more balance in his piaffes, but notably presented two well-executed and collected canter pirouettes. They comfortably finished ahead of Camille Judet Chéret and Herelja Higgins, who made a nice return to competition with a score of 70.304%. Still full of energy, the KWPN seemed to have gained elasticity in his trot half passes. Despite a first canter pirouette executed a little too quickly, followed by a more controlled second one, and a few moments of tension here and there, their clear round allowed them to easily surpass Peter Gmoser and dante's Daiquiri at 68.109%. While Justin Verboomen, Charlotte Fry & Isabell Werth chose Fontainebleau last week for a confrontation that clearly smelled of the World Championships in Aachen, the Dane Cathrine Laudrup Dufour, recent world number 1 with her 17-year-old MSJ Freestyle, had opted for the CDI 4* Hagen; a strategy of avoidance and/or a happy coincidence for those who signed on to the CDI 5* in Herning, at home, therefore, an 84.174% on the Grand Prix. Always presented very discreetly with a stable and light contact, the daughter of Fidermark could perhaps have been a touch more active in her trot halph pass to the right. Not quite steady in her halt before the rein-back, she also offered a first piaffe/passage transition that could have been cleaner but made no major faults; a test that allowed the Danish riders to take the win with 82.391%. In second place were Ingrid Klimke and the delicate Vayron. At 15 years old, the son of Vitalis seems to have improved his piaffe, now more on the spot and diagonal. With joined feet in the passage/canter transition, the bay followed with an easy zigzag and two relatively large pirouettes. The German pair left the arena with 75.087%. Finally, third place went to the Swedish rider Maria von Essen and her Invoice. Not quite square before his rein back, Jazz's son shook his head at the extended walk and proved faulty in the tempuies flying changes, which limited their score to 73.370%. Full results HERE

Alors que Justin Verboomen, Charlotte Fry & Isabell Werth choisissaient Fontainebleau la semaine dernière pour une confrontation qui sentait clairement les Championnats du Monde d'Aix la Chapelle, la danoise Cathrine Laudrup Dufour, récente numéro 1 mondiale avec sa MSJ Freestyle de 17 ans, avait elle opté pour le CDI 4* Hagen ; une stratégie de l'évitement et/ou un heureux hasard pour celles qui signaient sur le CDI 5* de Herning, à domicile, donc, un 84.174% sur le Grand Prix. Toujours présentée très discrètement avec un contact stable et léger, la fille de Fidermark aurait peut-être pu être un tout petit peu plus active dans son appuyer au trot à droite. Pas tout à fait d'aplomb dans son arrêt avant le reculer, elle proposait aussi une première transition piaffer/passage qui aurait pu être plus nette mais ne commettait aucune faute majeur ; une reprise qui permettait aux danoises de s'imposer avec un 82.391%. A la seconde place, on retrouvait Ingrid Klimke et le délicat Vayron. A 15 ans, le fils de Vitalis semble voir progressé dans ses piaffers, davantage sur place et diagonalisés. Pieds joints dans la transition passage/galop, le bai enchainait avec un zig zag facile et deux pirouettes relativement grandes. Le couple allemand quittait la piste avec un 75.087%. Enfin, la 3 ème place revenait à la suédoise Maria von Essen et son Invoice. Pas tout à fait d'aplomb avant de reculer, le fils de Jazz secouait la tête au pas allongé et s'avérait fautif dans les changements de pied aux deux temps, ce qui limitait leur score à 73.370%. The Hagen CDI is proving successful for the German riders so far: after Charlott-Maria Schürmann yesterday (see HERE), it was Katharina Hemmer who won the 4* Grand Prix qualifying for the freestyle today; a performance which also opens the doors wide for her to join the German team for the next World Championships. Member of the German team for the first time last year in Crozet, Katharina Hemmer seems well on her way to returning to the Mannschaft this year, having just achieved a new personal best of 77.261% with her chestnut gelding. While some slight instability was noticeable at the beginning of the test, the son of Destano displayed remarkable suppleness in both trot half-passes. Although he shook his head in his second extended trot, during the transition to the passage, and out of his first piaffe, the young rider brushed away the insects that were bothering him. Consistent and without any major faults, the Germans finished well ahead of Daniel Bachmann Andersen & Flash Gordon 37. While the gelding could have shown more ease in the trot half-passes, he also lost points by noticeably lowering his neck in the rein-back and due to an extended walk that remained rather short and relaxed. Although they were perfectly straight in the two-step lead changes, they nevertheless caught their lead changes on time, leaving the track at 73.456%. Third place went to British rider Sadie Smith, aboard Swanmore Dantina. The very active 11-year-old bay mare lost a little energy on the start of her first piaffe. Le CDI de Hagen réussit pour le moment aux cavalières allemandes : après Charlott-Maria Schürmann hier (voir ICI), c'est cette fois Katharina Hemmer qui remportait aujourd'hui le Grand Prix du 4* qualificatif pour la libre ; une performance qui lui ouvre au passage grand les portes de l'équipe germanique pour les prochains Championnats du Monde. Membre de l'équipe allemande pour la première fois l'année dernière à Crozet, Katharina Hemmer semble bien partie pour renouer avec la Mannschaft cette année puisqu'elle signait tout à l'heure avec son alezan un nouveau record personnel de 77.261%. Si quelques légères instabilités pouvaient être notées en début de reprise, le fils de Destano se montrait très ample et souple dans ses deux appuyers au trot. Bien qu'il ait secoué la tête dans son second trot allongé, dans sa transition au passage et à la sortie de son premier piaffer, la jeune femme éloignait les insectes qui l'importunaient. Homogène et sans faute majeure, les allemands devançaient largement Daniel Bachmann Andersen & Flash Gordon 37. Si le hongre pourrait afficher plus d'aisance dans les appuyers au trot, il perdait également des points en baissant nettement la nuque dans le reculer et en raison d'un pas allongé qui restait assez peu ample et relâché. Bien droits dans les changements de pied aux deux temps, ils accrochaient néanmoins leurs changements de pied au temps, quittant la piste à 73.456%. La 3 ème place revenait à la britannique Sadie Smith, en selle sur Swanmore Dantina. Très active, la baie brune de 11 ans perdait légèrement l'activité à l'abord et dans son premier piaffer. After Fontainebleau last week, this week it's off to Hagen for the dressage riders: since yesterday the Kasselmann family's arenas have been living to the rhythm of their spring competition, the Grand Prix of the 3* label was won by the German Charlott Maria Schürmann and her Dante's Pearl. Dante's Pearl returns to Hagen: this daughter of Dante Weltino, bred by Paul Schockemöhle, was indeed sold through the PSI sales in 2020. Now 11 years old, the Oldenburg mare is making her Grand Prix debut this year at the CDI level; her first season, therefore, already marked by a significant victory in the Grand Prix Special at the Tolbert CDI 3* two weeks ago with a solid score of 73.652%. Ridden by the 2024 7-Year-Old World Champion, Dante's Pearl Old clearly won the Grand Prix at the Hagen CDI 3*: despite hind legs being a little far back in the halt, suggesting a rushed and relatively difficult rein-back, the bay mare also offered expressive extended trots, a first piaffe that could have been more active, a collected walk that lacked relaxation, but also uphill and projected flying change lines, an easy zig-zag canter, and pirouettes that could have been tighter; a performance scored at 73.652%, far ahead of Helen Langehanenberg & Zoom at 70.979% and Laura Stobel & Valparaiso at 69.761%.
