Young riders French Vice-Champion in 2015, European Young Riders Championships team member in Vidauban and Olivia with Woodstock de la Guiche, Thomas Bobis lives in the UK since September 2018 and previously rode for the Eilberg family. Self-employed since 2020, he is based southwest of London. Since spring 2025, the 30-year-old rider has been competing in the UK Grand Prix with Molière de Massa; a mount that is currently reaching a new level, approaching the 70% last weekend.
Partnered with Thomas Bobis since June 2023, 10-year-old Moliere de Massa competed in the 2023 French 7-Year-Old Championship; a season they reached the 73% on the Small Tour level. After a 2024 season on the Medium Tour, the son of Maestro and Tabaco de Massa participated last year in the British Grand Prix Championship.
The French enjoyed a successful start of his season last weekend at a national competition held southwest of London, in Merrist Wood, with a Grand Prix score of 69.500%, placing second behind his trainer Sarah Millis and her horse Le Zorro with 70.330%. Millis also won the Saint Georges with 71.910% aboard Odessa de Massa, an 8-year-old mare by James Bond de Massa and out of Don Juan de Hus owned, like the 4 times European Juniors British Team member and double team bronze medalist Vagabond de Massa, by the Sully's family.
Following this result, Thomas Bobis hopes to return to international competition in 2026.
