13th after 's-Hertogenbosch, the young German Moritz Treffinger was theoretically ineligible for the World Cup Final in Fort Worth, Texas. However, this was without taking into account the changes recorded in recent hours by the FEI.
At 22, Moritz Treffinger is already an very experienced rider: if he rides for the renowned Gestut Bonhomme, he was also the 2018 European Pony Champion, the 2025 European U25 Champion, and a three-time team gold medalist.
Having finished 7th in the World Cup qualifiers in Herning and Stuttgart, twice 10th in London and Amsterdam, 5th in Neumünster, and again 10th in 's-Hertogenbosch, Treffinger distinguished himself this season with Cadeau and Fiderdance, the mount he will ride to Texas with, a stallion already experienced with the 2023 Final with Australian Simone Pearce.
Moritz Treffinger told Dressursport Kim today, "I'm really excited, especially since I've never flown further than Mallorca!"
Raphaël Netz has chosen to participate in this event with Great Escape Camelot, the Johnson gelding he has raced at Wierzbna Bialy Las, Herning, Stuttgart, and Neumünster.
