German breeder Stefanie Löhmann unfortunately lost her battle against the disease.
For several years, she shared on social medias her time between the difficult battle she was fighting against the brain cancer and breeding dressage horses; an activity in which Stefanie Löhmann had built a solid reputation. She bred the 2019 German 4-year-old Champion and 2022 7-year-old World Vice-Champion, Destello (Old, Dimaggio x Furst Fugger), Lordswood Bernstein SL (Old. Bonds x Quaterback), sold to Andreas Helgstrand in 2020, approved by the DWB in 2021 and then by the Oldenburg Studbook before being resold in the United States to Jessica Howington, and Bueno SL (Old. Bonds x Foundation), also sold to the Katrinelund Stables in Denmark and presented last year in national competitions by Stine Klausholt.
Among the few horses imagined by the German rider sold in France, we can particularly mention Emoji SL (photo) with which Camille Judet Chéret was 5th in the 5-year-old World Championships in 2024 and Corentin Pottier 11th in the 6-year-old World Championships last year.
Stefanie Löhmann was 56 years old.
