The Brandenburg stallion Samba Hit II died at the age of 24.
Born at Neustadt Dosse stud, this son of Sandro Hit and Brentano II, full brother to Samba Hit I, III, IV, and the renowned mare Poetin, was approved in his studbook in 2004.
He began competing in 2005 with Christian Flamm and later with Maik Kohlschmidt. Sold in Belgium in 2010 to the Verhesen family, Samba Hit II competed in the country with Mieke Lunskens, Charlotte Verhesen, and Jef Coenegrachts, reaching the Small Tour level in 2014. After being sold to the De Ijzeren Man, Samba Hit II was subsequently leased back to Neustadt Dosse following the death of his brother, Samba Hit I.
Although less prolific than other stallions, we can nevertheless cite among his descendants: Bojengels, presented at the Tokyo Olympics by Aleksandra Maksakova, Bellisimo L presented up to Nations Cups by Mikaela Fabricius-Bjerre, Samba Dancer, ridden in the Grand Prix by the British Kate Cowell, or Santo Domingo with whom Emmelie Scholtens was 7th in the 6-year-old World Championships in 2012.
