Two years after his first and only CDI to date on the Grand Prix with the Portuguese Roberto Brasil, Revolution should return to international competition next week in Spain.

The Westphalian stallion, now 13 years old, by Rocky Lee and bred by Yasemin Yanik, first attracted attention in 2015 when he was purchased for €1.2 million at the Hanoverian studbook auction. Approved by the DWB in 2016, he dominated the Danish Championship at 4, 5, and 6 years old, winning the World Championship title for 5-year-olds (photo) before taking silver the following year. While he competed in the St. Georges in the summer of 2020 with scores of 77%, he returned to competition at the Grand Prix level after a 3-year-old break. Winners of a national competition with 75.9% in February 2023, Andreas Helgstrand and Revolution competed for the last time in May of the same year, finishing second with 71.667%.

Sold to Portugal in the autumn 2023, the stallion was sold to the MFI group for Roberto Brasil. Competing with the Portuguese rider, he scored a 69.674% and 70.109% in February 2024, before their first CDI in Cascais, where they achieved a modest 61.978%. They competed again in national competitions, at Ponte de Lima in April 2024, scoring 68.913% in the Grand Prix and 68.298% in the Grand Prix Special. Since then, there has been no further news, although Eurodressage reported in 2025 that the Westphalian stallion had been sent to Patrik Kittel in Germany.

Roberto Brasil & Revolution are expected to be part next week at the first CDI 3* in Jerez de la Frontera.
