Sold for €750,000 at the Aloga auction organized in May 2025, following a bidding war between Dutch and French clients, the stallion Maddox Mart ultimately went to Andreas Helgstrand's stables where he was offered for sale again. Now nine years old and registered as a gelding, the bay has finally returned to Germany.
The KWPN stallion by Hennessy and Bordeaux, third in the Dutch 5-Year-Old Stallion Championship, also represented the Netherlands at the World Young Horse Championships with Jessica Lynn Thomas. He placed 24th in the Preliminary Test with 77.200%, won the Small Final with 87.200%, and ultimately finished 11th in the Grand Final with 84.200%. He also won the Final Test in the Young Horse classes at the Wiesbaden CDI in 2022. He then competed in the Small Tour level with Lena Haßmann.
Maddox Mart notably comes from the maternal line of the stallions Aqiedo, ridden by Adelinde Cornelissen and Paddox, KWPN Approval Champion in 2000, Dutch representative at the 5 and 6 year old World Championships with Marijke Folmer then ridden by Diederik van Silfhout at the European Junior Championships of Stadl Paura in 2006.
At the beginning of March, Maddox Mart returned to competition in Germany on M level of a national competition organized in Vreschen-Bokel with Lenja Janßen, a 16-year-old rider, seen in 2024 on the Children test of Tolbert and Hagen CDIs.
