Three years after his last competition, the popular Jameson RS2 reappeared yesterday at a national competition in the Netherlands, still ridden by Marieke van der Putten.

KWPN licensing Champion in 2017, 4 yo in the Netherlands in 2018, and then Reserve Champion of the 5-year-olds, this son of Blue Zack and Negro also competed in the World Championships at 5 years old, where he finished 8th, and at 7 years old, where he finished 6th. Subsequently presented in national classes at the St. Georges, the very impressive Jameson nevertheless remained away from the competition for a long period.

After three years without competing, Marieke van der Putten entered him yesterday in an Inter II competition held in Lathum, near Arnhem; a comeback where they scored a 73.500% for the rider who can already count on, just on Grand Prix level, Titanium, Kuvasz, and Zantana. She will also present Forza, a mare by Fürstenball previously seen in the Small Tour, in another Inter II competition at the same show today.

Now 12 years old, Jameson RS2 is notably the sire of Proud James, World Champion of 5-year-olds in 2025 with Mette Sejbjerg Martinez.
