Not only she can count on Viva Gold, himself descended from her ex-mare Weihegold, Isabell Werth made her competition debut today with V-Power, one of the first approved sons of her chestnut stallion.
This grandson of Fidertanz, bred by Bernd Goeke, was the Westphalian Champion in 2022. Awarded 831 points during his performance tests in Denmark, he had since been seen at stallion shows ridden by Eric Guardia Martinez and Maxi Kira von Platen, but had never competed before.
The 6-year-old stallion, owned by Andreas Helgstrand, made his competitive debut this afternoon in a young horse class near Bielefeld, Germany, achieving an average score of 8.34: 8.5 for the trot, 8 for the walk, and 8.7 for the canter.
