A little over a year after joining her, Isabell Werth continues to masterfully manage Viva Gold Old's international career.
After an excellent start to the season at the Herning 3*, where the 10-year-old stallion won the Grand Prix with 77.500% and the Grand Prix Special with 79.042%, Viva Gold Old was today the true and only favorite for the Mannheim 4* Grand Prix. Perhaps more connected to his rider's aids in the diagonal gaits, the stallion was not square before a rein back, a movement in which he lost balance and resisted. Very comfortable in the piaffe and passage, and relaxed in the extended walk, Viva Gold occasionally discussed the contact and become tensed in the canter. Faulty in the one time changes, the chestnut also changed in the extended canter and again demonstrated his great talent for pirouettes.
Isabell Werth & Viva Gold Old obtained a score of 77.087%.
