Into the Blue passed away

Into the Blue, Louis Bell's Grand Prix horse, died in early February.
Bred by British show jumping legend John Whitaker, this AES by Ublesco was discovered by the English rider at the age of three. She began competing with him at five, then in CDI events in 2015 on Small Tour level in Barcelona. They moved up to Grand Prix in UK 2017 and took two years later the third place at the National Championships.
If they have never been selected for major Championships, Louise Bell & Into The Blue were nonetheless selected for few Nations Cups in Hickstead, Uggerhalne, Aachen, Compiègne, and Rotterdam. They also won the freestyle in le Mans in 2019.
Retired since the end of 2025, the 20-year-old gelding unfortunately succumbed to colic attack and complications due to a displaced colon.
