Hexagon's Ich Weiss sold

Hexagon's Ich Weiss, previously ridden in CDI Grand Prix level by he Dutch rider Thamar Zweistra, has been sold to the United States.



Bred by the late Leunis van Lieren, this son of Rubiquil & Negro made his international competition debut in Le Mans in February 2020 in Small Tour classes; a competition he returned to the following year for his CDI Grand Prix debut. Selected for the Dutch team for the Nations Cup in Aachen in 2021, Thamar Zweistra & Hexagon's Ich Weiss qualified in 2022 for the World Cup Final in Leipzig, where they finished 11th; a season they also represented the Netherlands at the World Championships in Herning, where they achieved a Grand Prix score of 72.376% and a Grand Prix Special score of 73.359%.



Until last June, they focused on World Cup and Nations Cup events. Fifth in the Omaha World Cup Final and members of the Dutch team at the 2023 European Championships in Riesenbenck, they qualified for the 2024 Riyadh World Cup Final and competed for the last time in June 2025 at the Budapest Pilisjászfalu leg, which they won.


The 13 yo grey stallion, approved by the NRPS and AES studbooks, has been sold to April Batcheller in the United States; a rider who previously acquired Diesel 8, the former Grand Prix horse of British rider Emma Hindle.
