8 months after the European Championships in Crozet in which he participated with Dinja van Liere, the stallion Hermes will return to competition this week, ridden by his new rider.

Fourth at the Paris Olympics, Dinja van Liere & Hermes were in Crozet, finishing fourth in the Grand Prix with 76.941%, eighth in the Grand Prix Special with 75.486%, and just now thirteenth in the Freestyle with 77.82%; their final performance since winning a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships in Herning.

Since then, the son of Easy Game had stayed at the stable.

The 14-year-old stallion will compete tomorrow in an Inter II U25 class, presented by Eline Anker, the daughter of his co-owner, in Wezep. At 22, the young woman represented the Netherlands at the 2024 European Young Riders Championships in St. Margarethen, riding Hey You, a son of Romanov currently offered for sale by Andreas Helgstrand.
