6-year-olds world Champion in August 2023 in Ermelo with Hans Peter Minderhoud, My Toto had since been relatively rare in competition: the 9-year-old gelding made today his Grand Prix debut at a national competition in the Netherlands.
Having made a name in 2023 when his 17th place in the preliminary round meant he would only qualify for the Small Final of the Championship, this son of Glock's Toto Jr and Voice made at that time a huge comeback, winning both the Small and Grand Finals with scores of 8.5 for walk, 8.8 for trot, 9.5 for canter, 8.5 for submission, and 9 for perspective.
Breed by Aat Both, former chairman of the World Championship organizing committee in Ermelo, and co-owned by his breeder, his wife Lida Both-van Loef, and Miga horses BV, the company of Edward Gal and Hans Peter Minderhoud, My Toto was notably absent from the 2024 World Championships for 7-year-olds. The gelding, from the dam line of Arlando, the former Grand Prix horse of Diederik van Silfhout, was sidelined from the event due to injury.
Having been viewed at the Small Tour in the Netherlands in 2025, the bay made his Grand Prix debut today; a first start that was rewarded with a 69.75%.
