Out from CDI Grand Prix competitions since 2022, from the Dutch team since the 2019 Compiègne Nations Cup where she were part of the Oranje with Badari after representing the Netherlands with her Siro at the 2013 European Championships in Herning and the Lyon World Cup Final in 2014, Danielle Heijkoop seems close to be back at the top level.
Although she has competed in the World Young Horse Championships in 2015, 2024, and 2025, the Dutch rider, now 38 years old, kept very discrete since her last team appearence. She made her Inter II debut this weekend with a KWPN who seems to have great potential: Mac Toto USB. This 9-year-old son of Toto Jr and Negro, owned by Joop van Uytert and the Brouwer stables, and bred by G. van de Laar, won the Dutch 6-year-old Championship and finished 9th in the World 7-year-old Championships two years ago.
Starting in an Inter II at Hoek van Holland, Danielle Heijkoop and Mac Toto USB scored a 72.500%, far ahead from Wijnanda Van Brenk & Iron'S-Whisper who received a 65.515%. Thiscompetition's Grand Prix was won by Geert-Jan Raateland & Gladiator with a 73.696% : he also placed his second Grand Prix horse, Iwan, with a 73.587%.
