Daan G and DC-10 receive Weltmeyer Prize

Each year, the Hanoverian Verband honors the best young stallion(s) following the performance tests. After Escaneno and Global Hope last year, Daan G and DC-10 receive the Weltmyer Prize yesterday.

Breed in 2022 by Helene Geervliet, Daan G is a son of Donkey Boss and Don Olymbrio. Top-priced at the Verden Stallion auction in November 2024, Daan G reached €2 million : an investment made by Andreas Helgstrand and Paul Schockemöhle. He is approved as a Premium stallion for Hanover and DWB.

Last year's Excellent Dressage Sales Top Price where he reached €250,000, DC-10 already won the Hanoverian 3-year-old stallion Championship in Verden. This son of Dynamic Dream & Escolar, bred by ZG Rütten-Janssen and co-owned by Joop van Uytert and Andreas Helgstrand, received three perfect scores of 10, including one for trot and one for canter, as well as an 8 and a 9.5. Ridden by Alvaro Rodriguez Siscar, he finished ahead of Daan G.
