A bombshell dropped this morning, and it's no joke: Justin Verboomen is no longer world number one. For the first time since September, he has been dethroned by Denmark's Cathrine Laudrup Dufour, who has climbed from 25th to first place thanks to her victories at the Herning CDI 5*.

Now in second place, Justin Verboomen still leads Isabell Werth, while Becky Moody drops from 4th to 5th.

Further down the rankings, Jessica von Bredow Werndl has made a significant leap, climbing from 105th to 19th; a trend also followed by British player Annabella Pidgley, who rises to 41st place from 106th last month, and by Simone Pearce, who climbs from 15th to 55th.
