In addition to their victories in the Grand Prix and the Nations Cup, the Falsterbo CDIO 5* provided an opportunity today for Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and MSJ Freestyle to make a few adjustments ahead of the World Championships in Aachen—specifically, to fine-tune their new freestyle routine.

With a new musical composition and a new test, the Danish number one and former world number one reserved the premiere of her new freestyle test for the Swedish public. After a few walk steps from their entrance halt, Cathrine Laudrup Dufour and MSJ Freestyle began with a piaffe pirouette followed by the classic combination of passage half passe + trot half pass. Maintaining what appeared to be a light contact, the bay mare began her collected walk back to the judges. Although a "toilet needed" occurred at the start of their piaffe pirouette/canter pirouette combination, the Danish riders presented a first onte time changes the center line before a second line, perhaps with a minor incident. Awarded 88.420%, they easily outscored Leonie Richter and Lord Europe at 78.295% and Anna Zibrandtsen and Quel Filou at 76.475%.

With this new routine, Cathrine Laudrup Dufour and MSJ Freestyle have made a start almost identical to the one they achieved in CDI competition with their previous program: 88.093%.
