Leading Austrian dressage rider Victoria Max Theurer will be away from competition for a few months as she is expecting her first child; a pregnancy whose due date is expected in the autumn.
Absent from the CDI scene since September 2025 and the Hagen competition where she rode Espoir de Massa, Victoria Max Theurer had given the reins of her other Grand Prix horse, Birkhof's Topas FBW, to her partner Stefan Lehfellner; a change of rider that raised some questions.
The multiple Austrian Champion finally announced today, "The best reason for taking a short break this season is… that there will be three of us from September ."
