Show Star, the stallion from the Holkenbrink stables, has died at the age of 28. Bred by Tanja Brandtner, this son of Sandro Hit and Feinbrand won the German 3-Year-Old Championship in 2001 and then finished second in the 4-Year-Old Championship the following year, ridden by Henrike Sommer. Show Star, l'étalon des écuries Holkenbrink est mort à l'âge de 28 ans. Né chez Tanja Brandtner, ce fils de Sandro Hit et Feinbrand remportait en 2001 le Championnat d'Allemagne des 3 ans puis était second des 4 ans l'année suivante monté par Henrike Sommer. Ensuite valorisé par Oliver Oelrich, Show Star était en 2007 second de la Finale du circuit Nurnberg Burgpokal destinée aux meilleurs jeunes chevaux de Petit Tour puis évoluait sur le Grand Prix en Allemagne la saison sui

Cavalier international de longue date, membre de l'équipe espagnole à l'occasion des Championnats d'Europe de 2007, 2009, 2011 et 2017, des Jeux Olympiques de Pékin en 2008, Jordi Domingo Coll occupe désormais aussi de nouvelles fonctions : celle de conseiller technique du Canada. Certains s'en souviennent avec son étalon Prestige avec qui il dominait le Sunshine Tour en 2009, d'autres avec Statesman qui lui permettait de participer aux Championnats du Monde des 6 ans en 2013
