Outre les Championnats du Monde Jeunes Chevaux 2028 à 2030 (voir ICI), la FEI a aussi attribué les Championnats d'Europe Jeunes 2025 : Championnats Children, Juniors Jeunes cavaliers & U25 : Bedizzole (ITA), du 26 au 30 juillet ou du 2 au 6 août Championnat Poneys : Strzegom (POL) du 17 au 20 août

Traditionally held in Verden or Ermelo, the 2028, 2029, and 2030 World Championships will this time take place in Denmark. At a meeting held recently at the FEI, the decision was made to award the hosting of the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses to Denmark—specifically to the same organizer as the 2027 European Championships—at the Randbøl Dressage Academy facilities in Vejle. Jens Trabjerg, who is in charge of next season's European event, stated: "I am very proud that the FEI has once again placed great trust in us and entrusted us with organizing the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses. [...] We have the perfect setting for the championship here at Randbøl Dressage Academy, and I am certain that, together, we can create something very special with this prestigious championship."

Traditionnellement organisés à Verden ou Ermelo, les Championnats du Monde 2028, 2029 et 2030 auront cette fois lieu au Danemark. Lors d'une réunion organisée ces dernières jours à la FEI, décision a donc été prise de confier l'organisation des Championnats du Monde Jeunes Chevaux au Danemark, au même organisateur que les Championnats d'Europe 2027, à Vejle, dans les installations de la Randbøl Dressage Academy. En charge du rendez-vous européen de la saison prochaine, Jens Trabjerg déclarait ainsi : "Je suis très fier que la FEI nous ait de nouveau fait preuve d’une grande confiance et ait mis l'organisation des Championnats du Monde Jeunes Chevaux de dressage entre nos mains. [...]. Nous avons le cadre parfait pour le championnat ici à Randbøl Dressage Academy, et je suis sûr qu'ensemble, nous pouvons créer quelque chose de très spécial avec ce championnat prestigieux".

Tarantino, the Grand Prix horse ridden by German rider Carina Scholz, has officially retired from the sport. Bred by Hans Günther Boehl, this Hanoverian by Toronto began his competitive career in young horse classes in 2011 with Jessica Suss. In 2015, he moved to Martin Stamkötter, with whom he competed at the Small Tour level; he subsequently came under the saddle of Lisa Marie Koch and finally Carina Scholz from 2017 onwards—she rode him in his first Grand Prix and first CDI, at Verden in 2019. It was back then that Carina Scholz and Tarantino first heard the German national anthem played following their victory in the Grand Prix Special at the Crozet 4* show. They were selected for the Nations Cup in Aachen in 2021, as well as for the Rotterdam and Falsterbo legs in 2024. Much less active since 2025, they were seen only at the Basel World Cup leg—marking their final CDI appearance—and at a national competition in Ankum last October. At 19, Tarantino will now enjoy his retirement in the pasture. Carina Scholz, however, is far from being out of the saddle; she continues to compete in Germany with horses such as Fideleo 6, Sabiano 4, Just the Best, Best Rubin, Dream Date, van Damme, Fortunio, La Jolie SW, and Diamantenglanz. crédit photo : FEI/Thomas Reiner

Tarantino, le cheval de Grand Prix de l'allemande Carina Scholz en a officiellement fini avec le sport. Né chez Hans Günther Boehl, cet hanovrien par Toronto débutait sa carrière sportive sur les épreuves jeunes chevaux en 2011 avec Jessica Suss. En 2015, il rejoignait Martin Stamkötter avec qui il abordait le Petit Tour, puis passait sous la selle de Lisa Marie Koch et enfin Carina Scholz à compter de 2017 : elle l'alignait alors sur son premier Grand Prix et son premier CDI, à Verden en 2019. Depuis cette date, Carina Scholz & Tarantino faisaient retentir l'hymne germanique pour la première fois sur le Grand Prix Spécial du 4* de Crozet. Ils étaient sélectionnés en 2021 pour la Coupe des Nations d'Aix la Chapelle et pour celles de Rotterdam et Falsterbo en 2024. Beaucoup plus discrets depuis 2025, ils n'étaient aperçus que sur l'étape Coupe du Monde de Bâle, date de leur ultime sortie en CDI et sur un concours national à Ankum en octobre dernier. A 19 ans, Tarantino va désormais couler sa retraite au pré. Leading figure in Swedish dressage, Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfvén will not compete in the World Championships in Aachen this August; she was forced to withdraw from the Nations Cup in Hagen this week. Members of the Swedish team at the European Championships in Crozet—where they finished 18th after two 70%+ tests—the rider (soon to turn 59) and her Apache-sired KWPN mare distinguished themselves this season at international competitions in Wellington, Florida. Having already been selected for the Nations Cup in Lier last May, Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfvén and the chestnut mare were scheduled to compete in Germany this week at the Hagen leg—an appearance that ultimately did not take place. Lövsta Stables announced yesterday: "Sometimes, things don't go as planned. Before leaving for Hagen, Hyatt unfortunately sustained an injury. She was examined by a veterinarian, and we decided together not to proceed with our bid for the World Championships. [...]" No further details regarding Hyatt's health issue have been disclosed. Grande dame du dressage suédois, Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfvén ne participera pas aux Championnats du Monde d'Aix la Chapelle au mois d'août : elle a en effet dû renoncer cette semaine à prendre part à la Coupe des Nations de Hagen. Membres de l'équipe suédoise des Championnats d'Europe de Crozet (photo) dont elles terminaient 18 èmes après deux reprises à 70%, la cavalière de bientôt 59 ans et sa KWPN par Apache se distinguaient cette saison sur les internationaux de Wellington en Floride. Déjà sélectionnées pour la Coupe des Nations de Lier en mai dernier, Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfvén et l'alezane avaient cette semaine rendez-vous en Allemagne pour l'étape de Hagen ; un rendez-vous finalement manqué. Les écuries Lovsta annonçaient en effet hier " Parfois, ça ne se passe pas comme tu l'avais prévu. Avant le départ pour Hagen, Hyatt a malheureusement subi une blessure. Elle a été examinée par un vétérinaire et nous avons décidé ensemble de ne pas poursuivre notre engagement pour les Championnats du Monde. [...]. " Aucune information supplémentaire quant à la problématique de santé touchant Hyatt n'a été dévoilée.
