Ce ne sont finalement que Delia Eggenberger & Santa Maria, Charlotte Lenherr & Dettori et Estelle Wettstein & Quaterboy qui porteront la semaine prochaine les couleurs helvétiques. Charlotta Rogerson & Bonheur de la Vie ont en effet été retirés de l'équipe nationale. Aucune réserve n'a par ailleurs été appelée pour les remplacer et aucune information complémentaire n'a jusqu'à présent été donnée. L’équipe suisse sera encadrée sur place par la cheffe d’équipe Ruth Haas, l’entraîneur national Oliver Oelrich ainsi que le vétérinaire d’équipe Christoph Kühnle

Championnats du Monde Jeunes Chevaux 2026, jour 2 : si l'après-midi sera consacrée à la petite Finale des 6 ans, la matinée était aujourd'hui à la génération des 5 ans, largement dominée par l'Allemagne. Complet, sans être exagérément exubérant comme c'est parfois le cas, voilà comment on pourrait être résumer Einfach Imposant B, vainqueur aujourd'hui de la reprise Préliminaire des 5 ans avec Kira Laura Soddemann ; la cavalière de 39 ans participe cette semaine à son premier Championnat dans cet catégorie après avoir tout de même déjà représenté l'Allemagne dans les 6 et 7 ans en 2021 et 2022. Né chez Daniela Burkhardt-Robert, ce hongre par Escolar et Westernhagen passait l'automne dernier par les ventes du Hanovre (photo) où il était adjugé 140.000€ (vidéos) obtenait une note de 8.8 au trot, 9 au pas, 8.7 au galop, 9 en soumission et 9 en perspective, soit une moyenne de 89%. Déjà solidement construit et taillé comme une futur cheval de Grand Prix, la seconde place revenait à DSP Lord Löwenherz von Bellin. Monté, comme son père Lord Europe, par Leonie Richter, DSP Lord Löwenherz von Bellin était l'année dernière médaillé de bronze du Championnat d'Allemagne des 4 ans. Le très sérieux bai était évalué d'un 9.8 au trot, soit la meilleure note de l'épreuve pour cette allure, 7.7 au pas, 8.7 au galop et en soumission et 9 en perspective pour une moyenne générale de 87.800%. L'Allemagne occupait aussi la 3 ème place grâce à la prestation de Weihe's Happiness Old et Alina Schneider. Cette petite fille de Weihegold, née Christine Arns-Krogmann, est elle dotée d'un modèle beaucoup plus léger et dans le sang. Si elle trottait parfois avec la tête et qu'elle précipitait son reculer, la petite mais très élastique baie brune obtenait un 9.3 au trot, un 8.8 au pas et en perspective, un 8.5 au galop et un 8.2 en soumission pour une moyenne générale de 87.200%. Côté français, Justine Ludot & Le Noir 51 terminaient 24 èmes avec un (timide ?) 75.600% et des notes de 7.5 au trot et en soumission, 7.2 au pas, 7.9 au galop et 7.7 en perspective. Le Noir 51 est un fils de Lifetime FRH, propriété comme lui des écuries Contern Dressage avec qui Charlott-Maria Schürmann remportait en 2024 le Championnat du Monde des 7 ans. Enfin, Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin & Fashion Breaker quittaient la piste avec une moyenne de 72.800% avec 7.3 au trot, 6.7 au pas, 7.8 au galop, 7.2 en soumission et 7.4 en perspective, soit la 35 ème place. Well-educated without being overly exuberant—as can sometimes be the case—that is how one might describe Einfach Imposant B, today’s winner of the 5-year-old preliminary test with Kira Laura Soddemann. The 39-year-old rider is competing in her first championship in this category this week, having previously represented Germany in the 6- and 7-year-old divisions in 2021 and 2022. Bred by Daniela Burkhardt-Robert, this gelding by Escolar out of a Westernhagen mare was sold at the Hanoverian auction last autumn for €140,000; he earned scores of 8.8 for the trot, 9 for the walk, 8.7 for the canter, 9 for submission, and 9 for general impression, resulting in an average score of 89%. Second place went to DSP Lord Löwenherz von Bellin, a horse already solidly built and possessing the conformation of a future Grand Prix mount. Ridden—like his sire, Lord Europe—by Leonie Richter, DSP Lord Löwenherz von Bellin was the bronze medalist at last year’s German Championship for four-year-olds. This impressive bay earned a 9.8 for his trot—the highest score of the class for that gait—along with a 7.7 for the walk, 8.7 for the canter and submission, and a 9 for future potential, resulting in an overall average of 87.800%. Although she occasionally trotted with her head up and rushed the rein-back, the small yet highly elastic dark bay mare earned a 9.3 for the trot, 8.8 for the walk and future potential, 8.5 for the canter, and 8.2 for submission, achieving an overall average of 87.200%. Depuis ce matin, les meilleurs jeunes chevaux de la planète ont retrouvé Verden, temple du studbook Hanovrien, pour leurs Championnats du Monde de leurs catégories. Ils étaient donc 45 à s'avancer devant Monique Peutz Vegter, Kurt Christensen, William Warren et Juan Carlos Campos Escribano. Une fois n'est pas coutume, un cheval danois qui caracole en tête d'un Championnat du Monde n'est pas propriété d'Andreas Helgstrand. Pour autant, l'affixe "G" n'est pas étranger à l'évènement. Comme Quinn G, triple Championne du Monde, à 5 ans avec Betina Jaeger & 6 et 7 ans avec Fiona Bigwood, Faustino G est en effet né chez Helene Geervliet ; une éleveuse à succès puisqu'elle faisait également naître Daan G, Top Price 2024 des ventes successives à l'approbation du Hanovre où il atteignait les 2 millions d'euros. Issu d'un croisement entre Blue Hors Farrell et Sezuan, lui aussi monté par Betina Jæger, Faustino G était déjà présent sur ces Mondiaux l'année dernière : il prenait alors la 4 ème place de la compétition et, à l'automne, la seconde place du Championnat danois des 5 ans. Le bai obtenait ce matin des notes de 9.7 au trot, 8.5 au pas, 9.3 au galop malgré un changement de pied peut-être un peu court ou joint, 9.5 en soumission avec un reculer légèrement précipité, 9.3 en perspective soit une moyenne générale de 92.600%. Andreas Helgstrand n'était malgré tout pas bien loin puisque c'est une de ses recrues qui était seconde : Dizzy, une fille de Hesselhøj Donkey Boy & Blue Hors Zack présentée par Merita Hagren. La finlandaise, déjà vue sur ces Mondiaux en 2021, 2024 et 2025, et l'alezane permettaient au suspense d'être maintenu jusqu'au bout de l'épreuve : avec leur 89.200% et 9 au trot, au pas et en perspective, 8.8 au galop et en perspective, elles faisaient descendre Isabell Werth & V Power du podium de cette première journée. Déjà remarqué en début d'année puisqu'il recevait le Weltmeyer Prize, Sir Gribaldi, monté par l'italienne Beatrice Arturi mais sous couleurs allemandes, était troisième à 88.200%. L'étalon des écuries Sprehe par Secret et All Inclusive, 24 ème (!) de la petite Finale du Championnat d'Allemagne des 5 ans l'année dernière a résolument gagné en expérience puisqu'il était évalué d'un 8.6 au trot, 8.7 au pas, 8.9 au galop, 9 en soumission et 8.9 en perspective, soit une moyenne de 88.200%. A la quatrième place, on retrouvait V Power, lui propriété d'd'Andreas Helgstrand, associé à Isabell Werth. Malgré la carrière qu'on lui connait, l'allemande ne participe qu'à son 3 ème Championnat du Monde Jeunes Chevaux et le premier sur les carrières de Verden. La première fois remonte à l'an 2000, lorsqu'elle entrait sur la piste de ce rendez vous alors organisé à à Arnhem avec Richard Kimble, un Westphalien par Ribbeck dans les 6 ans. En 2023, elle présentait à Ermelo Valdiviani chez les 7 ans où le bai terminait 5 ème. Très typé étalon, V Power est un fils de Viva Gold et Fidertanz : il était aujourd'hui noté d'un 9.5 au trot, 7.2 au pas où davantage de liberté d'épaule aurait peut-être été appréciée, 9.7 qui récompensé un galop bien montant et projeté, 8.8 en soumission malgré un départ au galop à faux et 8.9 en perspective pour une moyenne générale de 88.200%. Côté français, Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin avait cette fois laissé en Mayenne sa collection de vestes colorées ! Parfois un peu tendue, Furstin Toto LH proposait un travail homogène avec quelques petits points perfectibles en matière de soumission, dans le reculer notamment. Notée d'un 7.5 au trot, d'un (frileux ?) 7.8 au pas, d'un 8 au galop, 7.8 en soumission comme en perspective, Furstin Toto LH terminait cette journée à la 21 ème place. Daphne Bigan & Kode Secret finissaient quant à eux 42 èmes à 69.800% avec 7.6 au trot, 6.5 au pas, 7 au galop, 7 en soumission et 6.8 en perspective. For a change, the Danish horse leading the World Championship is not owned by Andreas Helgstrand. However, the "G" suffix is ​​no stranger to the event. With the Aachen World Championships just a week away, the United States has also made a change to the lineup of the team that will represent the country: Jordan Laplaca and Gold Play are out. Selected for the first major event of his career, 38-year-old Jordan Laplaca will ultimately miss out on the World Championships. Despite winning the Wellington CDI 3* in February, the Nations Cup Special in March, and the Ocala Grand Prix in April—as well as representing the USA at the Hagen Nations Cup in early July—Laplaca’s summer journey has come to an end just before Aachen, as he has ultimately been replaced by Kasey Perry Glass and her 14-year-old horse, Heartbeat WP. Eight years after the World Games in Lexington, where she won team silver with Dublet, Kasey Perry Glass is thus rejoining the US team. No explanation for this change has been given so far.
